The guy I work with is an avid non reader and over the last couple of years I've worked with him, he failed to react to some very blatant references to various novels me and my other colleagues made.

So I got him the first book in the increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhikers Trilogy, and he actually liked it.

First - the Timeship USS Relativity from Star Trek. Gotta travel time with style.

Second - an Annie Plant from Schlock Mercenary. Or a design of thereof. A total annihilation power plant that can be built either titanically huge, or small like a golf ball and built into a gun.

Third - a Stargate. Preferably a few, to study the second one and, maybe, build my own or something.

Okay then, I REALLY like han solo pistol.

That is actually a modified Mauser C96, a gun that has been used before world war one. I would love to have one.

My first choice for a sci-fi item would be the obvious lightsaber, I am a fencer after all.

most of the stuff I would like has already been mentioned, like the Delorean and the Falcon, but some things I haven't seen mentioned yet are the Men in Black memory eraser(badS sunglasses included) and Deckards gun from Blade Runner. oh, and the power loader from Aliens.

Does a spaceship count? I think my favourite is either the NX-01 from Star Trek: Enterprise or the NCC-1701 as seen in the films Star Trek and Star Trek: Into Darkness.
