Minmus Discontinuity

I was happily trolling along on Minmus when I noticed a black line cutting across the landscape. Didn't think much of it as I've seen similar before. However this was different as it actually tipped my rover over:

Turned out it was like a step:

Its an bug in the mesh for the planet, I have found gaps so large I could get under the terrain, the poles is an good place to look for them

Going under is just for probes you can loose, its an area just below the surface who kills anything, this is to stop you getting under the mesh if you crash in high speed.

With 50 frames/ second you moves 40 meter every frame in 2 km/s.

It's a pipeline but not for oil: it's for chocolate sauce to go with the mint ice cream!

I've stumbled (literary) over this back in 0.24 already. I'm surprised it isn't fixed yet - did someone file a bug report?

When I was doing my cricmnavagation I was at the South Pole there was a huge rip in the ground. Killed Jeb inside of it

I saw one of these on the Mun, but that was in 0.90. It was big enough that my rover fell in and exploded.
