Finally decided to start playing seriously

I'm not exactly new here; I spent about a year with the demo just because I wanted to keep myself busy. I am a total noob, though, and can't get anything into orbit without MechJeb lol. Any advice?

As far as advice goes, definitely take a look at the Tutorials subforum and the Drawing Board thread. If you have a question you can't find an answer for, start a thread in the Gameplay Questions section.

Finally, take a look at the KSP Wiki. There is a vast amount of valuable knowledge there.
