Guys, wait a couple of months till the new examples from KillAshley come around. Although it is taking a while... For now a video would be nice, but the examples would be more of a help.

I did it with a LOT of trials and errors. A video or written tutorial seems a great idea.

Personally I'm trying to add some planets and moons before to create a whole new system. I've been able to see my planets in tracking station, I consider this a good starting point. Now I'm struggling with texturies for my world. Better to say I'm trying to create textures, because I can't create working dds files. I agree that written/video tutorials AND examples would be a great boost to my comprehension in planet making.
