Essential mods?

What are your essential mods? I mean, Mods that you really NEED. Mods that you think of cant play without?

I am asking because there are so much mods... I dont even know which I really need and which not. There are essential mods in every game with mods, so where are the KSP essentials? ;D

Damned Aerospace, I can\'t play without it. I don\'t know if you would like it, it all depends on if you want to make different space/airplanes.

As a mostly stock pilot, the only mod I can\'t go without is Tosh\'s cart, really everything else you might want to do in KSP can be done with the stock parts, and now rovers can sort of be done, but the cart is just so much better.

I think there are no must have part packs, for example I don\'t use KW which is recommended by a lot of users, and I don\'t have NovaPunch installed at the time.

For plugins, you need carts and MuMech, even if you don\'t use it\'s autopilot functions, it is a requirement for a lot of mods, including my plugin.

Best MuMech-based modsare Dammned Aerospace and Robotics, Mechjeb and the new Fixed Camera.

Zoxygene plugin is also a good one because it adds realism.

My rockets are usually a mix from novapucnh and KW, but I do have other parts installed as well.

I refuse to play with any mods until the part selection screen improves. There are already 3 pages of stock parts, and yeah, it\'s difficult to do a whole lot with just stock stuff, but that\'s my perspective. Hopefully, 0.16 will include that improved part selection screen. That being said, I loved playing with mods before the new parts from .15 were added, so I may give it another shot.

Trust me, as soon as you break the part barrier in each category including crew and decals, you won\'t care about that anymore.

Novapunch is great, but remember you don\'t have to install the entire pack (it\'s huge), just the parts you like.

I\'ve currently got Mechjeb, Camera, and the Muon Detector mods installed from the MuMech series.

I\'ve also been using this telemetry plugin http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=11403.0 running the client software on a separate PC on my network to map out the locations of the monoliths, as well as geek out over the telemetry data while launching and using different ascent profiles etc.
