PSA re-entry on Tylo is impossible

Why so complicated? If you explode, you are coming too steep and need to raise periapsis. If you only have aerobrake and don't have entry, then your periapsis is too high. Very simple.

You are doing it wrong, OP. Do not deploy chutes - stack dozens of them in front of your capsule, to be used as an amortisation during lithobraking. It is the only surefire way to land on Tylo using parachutes.

Seriously? Re-entry isn't impossible on Tylo, it just requires the right technique. There's a difficulty slider for a reason. Raise Resource Abundance and lower Reputation Penalties and try again. Once you figure out your chutes you can set it back to normal.

You didnt install the mod correctly if you cant land on tylo with chutes :D.

Im pretty sure there was a mod somewhere that added a very thin atmo to tylo or maybee that was the clouds mod so it just looked like atmo, no idea.

I also find that my spaceplanes no longer work on Tylo, my engines don't even start, let alone reach orbital velocity. Squad must have borked the atmosphere again.

Jets on Tylo don't work either. I had like 20 intakes and 1000 liquid fuel. I checked all sources and it said Tylo had air. Please help.

What's really borked about Tylo reentry is that it uses zero ablator. Seriously, heatshields are totally OP :).

Hey, I found out why it is actually impossible: Because the atmosphere is so dense you actually land on it! You see, Tylo has the same radius as Kerbin, but somewhat lower gravity, so it must be less dense. Scientists have been getting it wrong and measuring the surface from the top of its atmosphere! It's so dense you can land on it and even drive rovers! But strangely it starts all of a sudden, unlike other atmospheres.
