Type-01 IJN Submarine Prototype Showcase [WIP]

So, I'm working on a submarine ATM. It's easily able to dive and resurface, it has good underwater handling, and has a torpedo bay on the front bow.

It carries over 6000 units of liquid fuel. That gives it plenty of range.

The new revisions will have a much larger frontal weapons bay, better handling, higher cruise speed, and a wider beam.

The current version cruises around 12.9 m/s and can carry two torpedoes. Upgraded version should hold four or more.

I was originally going to mount Kaitens on this, and I still may.

Sea trials of two competing designs. One's designated the Senpai, while the other is the Dresden (U-Boat 2, but it's gone through many revisions since it was first revealed).

Some close maneuvering tests.

The Senpai has a special forces dry lock in the rear half.

The U-Boat 2 is more of a streamlined hull. That allows it to hold 15-16 m/s, while the senpai gets 14 m/s.
