There is a mod to correct this. It's called ScreenMessageHider.

The one I have is a mishmash of interstellar and Rearden's Real 8k Skybox Rearden's adds the milky way, AVP Interstellar adds nebulas.

That's the main reason I have a lot more screenshots in my folder than I should. Like half of them ends up with "time warp 1x" Then F1 gets hit again.

To each there own, personally those long exposure photos turned into skyboxes look awful to me - space should be black.

i have a skybox with bright blue and green gas clouds. i believe somebody once grabbed it from EVE.
