What things do you LIKE about the new forum?

Myself I like the larger preview when you hover over a thread.

What features of the new forum do you like?

Not much. I feel lucky I stayed here though, as a layout isn't an instant turn off for this great community.

Notifications for subscribed threads. I like to see when threads I follow are updated, but I don't like getting spammed by e-mails.
IPS is way better than vBulletin on that point.

The tooltips are neat and useful. But they don't make up for the raft of negatives.

• The theme is great. 
• Mobile layout is a lot more useful (but the mobile layout editor could use some more features). 
• The single-page responsive design in thread views shows promise, but I'd like it a lot more if it preserved browser back/forward button functionality.

My new content markers keep track of what I have and have not viewed, properly, for the first time, EVER, in the 3 years I've been on this forum. 

Also, thread moved to Kerbal Network.

This, is probably the only saving grace of the whole thing. Too bad about the effort made to get some of the people to leave, and the content they posted removed.

Besides that, the notifications and the consistency of the Thing Which Tracks What Posts You Already Seen are probably the only things I'd mark as improvements over what we already had. And the former are more of a semi-useless convenience feature anyway, only useful because the actual new content tracker page is such a mess.

I like the quoted / tagged notifications... And thoroughly dislike pretty much everything else.

My favorite things so far:

• Threaded PM conversations
• Read/Unread threads more consistent
• Better imgur embeds
• Notifications, and the customization thereof
• Custom Activity Streams

I agree with @Red Iron Crown's list, but I will add a few more:

• Notifications settings - to be emailed or not emailed! This is the ultimate question and option!
• A fairly simple search setup.*
• Tagging ability

*The only problem with the search function is that if I realize I've misspelled a user name or word and correct it, I normally get a message that I must wait 30 seconds before my next search.
