Stock Fighters Top 10 List

This challenge may be a bit confussing the way it looks now, but i'm going to put it up as it is now, just to see if people are interested.

Stock Fighters can be uploaded now and compete (please do)

If you have questions/suggestions please comment in this thread.

Remember, this is NOT like the TOP GUN challenge...

 

Welcome gentlemen.

This challenge is simular to the list used in the popular T.V.show "Street Outlaws".

you will have to engineer an aircraft using only BDArmory capable to defeat the #10 on the list. (for now its #1)

Since I'm just starting, you will be fighting my aircraft, but even if you lose, the first 9 are automatically on the list.

RULES:

Fighting is one on one.

Clipping:

Only for aesthetics, no double engines or fueltanks pushed in the canopy, you know what I mean.

WE WILL KNOW

Mods:

BD Armory only.

Craft script files:

Dont even go there....WE WILL KNOW

 

 

Judgement:

You will have to do the fight simulations (one on one) yourselfs, meaning both participants.

If you are in the top 10 you should run the simulations as well, expected is that you give it a judgement to.

Fairness and fun is the final judgement.

 

How it works:

If the first entry defeats me I will be number 2 and the winner will be safe from everyone although as beeing number 2 I can challenge him again for the spot (meaning upgrading or building a new aircraft).

This also means that the next challenger (number 3) can challenge number 2, taking his place to challenge number 1.

Now upload your craft on this thread (Dropbox or something) and you are in.

Simulate the battle (as many times you like) : All fights should be simulated on a KSP version having only the mod BD Armory installed !

Post your outcome on this thread, (no need to prove via pictures or video, WE WILL KNOW )

Judgement will not be important until we have a full top 10 list, If you are in the top 10 list it is expected of you to also simulate and judge fights.

 

Use as much ammo, guns, flares, missiles as you like, but notice that "less is more" and "keep it simple" are the best ways to go.

I would do this if this were in FAR. Stock aero is too weird and I end up needing to put the wings practically at the front of the craft.

There is a thread for that, already in existence. Also, I like the idea of a top 10. Count me in!

No problem, I can make a separate list for that.

It's all about the list, the best plane goes on top.

This challenge needs to be tweaked so I need people to send in planes, so I can work out the details.

Given this is an duplicate of a King-of-the-hill series we had running for months ( ours was under FAR though ) I suggest stealing our rules from http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/122347-far-fighter-challenge-bd-armoury-ai-2/ - they were worked out after dealing with many scenarios. Having to fight all 10 when the list is full is going to take some managing, I warn you was bad enough just getting fights organised when they're just fighting the top spot. This one needs more rules before people can send planes in ( especially FAR craft ).

Thanks for the feedback guys, I've been running A LOT of fighting simulations and the AI of BDArmory (and switching views) gives me no way to accurate tell me what plane is better....

I am closing this challenge, not do-able as it is, feel free to make your own "Top 10 List of Fighters" challenge....The idea is still a good one I think.
