Hello everyone! :D So i started making mods as you know, uuuh about year ago. Due to lack of help and support I stopped for an entire year but when i came back there we're better things to get me started mainly nli2work's videos! (thanks alo bro) But i think his way of making tutorials is too confusing ( not trying to insult or critique your methods, just saying there can be improvements) and I for one have made tutorials of something difficult i picked up in 3 months and made it to be easily done in 15 minutes (My youtube video of Garry's Mod TANK video with ACF) so, it's things i learned and CAN be improved. Eventually if this picks on even MY own videos will be improved by some other awesome person :D Tell me what you guys think!

As far as my knowledge for modding goes I can make: IVA's , BD Weapons and Engines (the modding, animating, particle making, part cfg editing part) The basic of basics!

I want to make them separate videos: One for Engines, one for IVA's, etc... And as far as language goes English is as good as my first language! :)

Im not sure modders would like me to "reveal" their secrets ahahah but this would enable the KSP community to CHANGE the game, INNOVATE and CREATE more! I KNOW there are people there with so much potential for the best and brightest ideas but have no way of knowing easily how to express them, those are the ones I want to help and if YOU the person reading this are blasting with ideas, for gods sake. Comment on the matter :)

I hope you like the idea and if I feel the community (everyone, modders, players and dev's) is happy for this, I shall move forward with it! Keep in mind, i'm not SUPER modder, i just started but I feel like I have enough knowledge to make anything I want specifically for aircraft mods.

But the longer I do this the more I will know and the more I record and help and this will hopefully snowball into people who watch said videos changing the game.

-Cheers =)

I think the existing video tutorials are good enough...  what I'd love to see someone do is a step by step blender version of Beale's text tutorial for Wings 3D.  Text tutorials take so much longer to put together but they're really handy on your second and third parts when you remember MOST of the steps from the first part, but need to look up one or two steps!

OMG, yes... THIS... When I did my first ever part, I really was gonna give Blender a try... but couldnt find any real basic tutes... I found Beale's, so I gave Wings 3D a try, and made my 1st simple part... Now I'm trying my next one with Blender, but still havent found a good basic tute...Much less one specific to KSP like Beale's...

Do it!  We can never have too many tutorials.

^^ This too... :D

So you are BOTH correct... :)

I would like to see, either a text OR video tute, using Blender, to make an EXTREMELY simple, basic KSP part (cover modelling it, texturing it (with a simple texture) explain what a mesh, normal, and mipmap(?) are; maybe also a VERY basic animation; explain making the collider...And anything else needed to do in Blender I did not mention...
THEN show, specifically, how to use the KSP Part Tools to get it into & out of Unity, plus whatever it is that we need to do in Unity, and then explain how we get it to load into KSP.... :D

Maybe it would be best to just start planning the tutorial, and wait to actually create it, once the new Part Tools gets released, so you wont have any discrepencies, or a quickly oboleted/incorrect/confucing tute by using the existing 0.23 Part Tool... ???

I third this!

I like the text tutorials as I find myself constantly going back to check steps when something doesn't work. Down side is when a click on an obscure (to a noob) menu is skipped over.

I like the video tutorials as I can sometimes catch that missing menu click.

Yes do it pls. I do not have problems with 3d models in maya or blender. but my biggest problems are with unity when trying to convert model for ksp. So  I hope you will do some tutorials how to properly set up wheels, engines, IVA in Unity pls. Thank you a lot.

Great tutorials. I watched all of them. Just a question. How about tutorial for wheels and cargo bays? I would really be thankful for them. Mainly for the Unity part how to set it up in unity. Thank you

Unfortunally i left modding but as to those i'l do them when i get back to it. In the meantime try to dig up on the forums ;)

Well, it'll be good to have tutorials on every part types there is in KSP

That includes animations (Solar Panels and Wheel spin), Colliders (Lander Legs, perhaps?), bays and animatable objects (Parts that keep on moving, perhaps?)
