vexx32 Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 Well, the forum doesn't technically permit that occurrence, but we can get around it by making a copy of a post made at an earlier date than the target thread's OP. This copy is placed into the thread, and the forum software then assumes that the user who made that post is the thread's OP, since posts in a thread are sorted by post date. We then typically copy the original OP into the new one and delete the old OP, as was done just now.It's a bit of fussing around, but it works in the end.
