wissx
You are a nerd when you decide to make a mathematical theory in your head You know when you are a nerd when you can easily outsmart someone in a discussion about getting a rocket to mars. (I have done this cause I am the only rocket scientist and I am the smartest kid in my class [Fact])
0111narwhalz
You know you're a nerd when you... ...recognize the portrait of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky on sight...and set him as your background on all your devices. ...carry a scientific calculator in your pocket ...rate calculators based on the capacity of their cases to carry stacks of index cards... ...upon which you write tables of engine Isp, mathematical equations (and constants), and fuel tank mass ratios. ...calculate the amount of energy it would take to launch Hawaii (Big Island, not the whole archipelago) one kilometer deep, single stage, on a hydrogen-oxygen rocket. (By the way, it's about 20kT. Yes, that's the right unit.) ...have c stored permanently in your calculator. ...memorize the Vis-Viva equation. It's V2=µ(2/r-1/a). ...have all the parameters of the Rocket Equation set up as variables in a graphing calculator. ...get full credit, no questions asked, on math tests the instructor lost... ...and then get drafted to tutor the class a year up. ...break your wrist, but insist on continuing to out-nerd the competition on the KSP forums. ...have literally no presence on the major social networking websites, outside of YouTube comments. ...proofread your YouTube comments before posting... ...and find no mistakes. Uhm. After typing all that out, I feel kinda self-conscious.

mikeman7918
You know you are a nerd when you have a custom bumper sticker on your car that says "My other car is a Delta-Glider". If you don't know, the Delta-Glider is the most iconic ship in Orbiter space flight simulator, which I highly recommend to any KSP player especially considering that it's free. WinkAllKerb''
When you know that you could never be a nerd enough and will be each time even more in relative but less in absolute ; ) When you make long sentence When you make short sentence, or wall of text, because after wall, sometime clarifying thing or messing them even more could both solve and or either complexify the thing yourself and the others, and as a matter of fact, the best to deal with anti matter is to find another matter that matter to matter about. This will contribute in the matter densification while at the same time reducing the space it use, wich is handy for storage prupose but but could be annoyin to extract and sort thing back. Of Course to highlight to wich point it bring you to a new horizon, you have to consider each event you cross daily, with no return option but to continue walking on that path as you're doing since the beggining. When you don't like randomness When you like randomness When the age of the universe and it's uncertainty make you thought about your own ellipsis and certitude. mikeman7918
You know you are a nerd when you are playing a sport in your Physical Education (PE) class and you start to wonder how your knowlage of physics could give you an edge, and when you realize that calculating the ball's trajectory is just simple classical mechanics that is basically common sense you think "what kind of witchcraft is this?". This actually happened to me. Quantum uncertainty, special relativity, the gravity gradient, Earth's curvature, tidal forces, and spacial expansion are all negligible. Physics is not supposed to be this easy!!!
