[Request] Detect if a Part that is Pruned Will Affect Your Save

Is anyone interested in developing a mod that would detect if you prune a part it will delete the craft in your save game?  Or at least a mod that stops loading your save game and asks you if you want to continue in the aforementioned circumstance.

What would be even better is if you could prune parts out of your packs straight from the VAB/SPH or Techtree.

is a mod manager that has a great Parts tab, and a Crafts tab... The program detects all your crafts, validates them, lists EVERY part on each craft, shows what mod each part came from (IF the mod is currently installed), and highlights parts ON the craft, that are MISSING from the game (VAB/SPH)...

IIRC, in the Parts tab, it shows if a part is used on any saved craft file, and which craft it is... It also shows the part name, (the "hidden" name used in the part.cfg), as well as the part title (the name you see in the VAB/SPH).... This makes it MUCH easier to delete the correct parts...

@Stone Blue I can't get it to tell me which parts are used on ships already in the game on the parts list tab.  Only on the ship tab.  Is that normal operation?

@Probus Hmmm... SO I just checked, and it seems you are correct... Either I am not remembering correctly, tho I could SWEAR there was a way on the part tab to see if a specific part was used on a craft or not (possibly didnt NAME which craft, but at least indicated it was used on at least ONE craft), OR that functionality may not have been carried over to the newer AnyOS version of the mod...

All I could say is, check back thru the release thread, and find just before the AnyOS version came out (Apr-May 2015)... I want to say the last prior version was something like 1.4.0... OR maybe check the Wiki for that functionality?:  https://github.com/MacTee/KSP-Mod-Admin-aOS/wiki
You might be able to get a copy of the older version, and run that...
