When I started there was no Minmus (well, in the demo. I think the real game had it) but I don't think it would have mattered.

I wanted to land men on the Moon. I didn't care that those "men" were Kerbals and I didn't care that the Moon was Mun. I wanted to land THERE. I was not content to explore further until I had done that.

Seriously though, that will be incredibly useful, especially for heavily modded installs.
