Too facebooky for my liking..

If you press no you still get the indicator on the corner

I miss the old forums for all but one thing how itd log out while your writing an epic emotional post then lose half of it when you goto send...

For everything else except that .. Its been a bad change

I know people who cant post due to the neon white and contrast site issues..

Its just not kerbal

Honestly i wish the forums didnt migrate to this version. I always come away from this forum with a head ache and my eyes burning.

Agreed. I have never seen a community so quickly killed off by a forum change as this.

Moved to Kerbal Network.

It's just little alerts if someone replies to you and whatnot. Highly customizable. I have them almost all turned off.

And let's please not do the new-software-hate thing again. There are plenty of other threads for that, and it's here to stay anyway.

That notice is the forum asking your browser for permission to show popup notifications, which is different than "what kind" of notifications you get. Once you've given approval to the browser (the picture you posted), you can customize what alerts you receive by going to "Account Settings->Notification Settings" and also in "Manage Followed Content."

In there, you can manage if you want popups/emails/none, and how often you want to receive emailed content. If you don't want all the "facebooky" popup stuff, it can all be turned off.

Cheers,
~Claw

Anything i did as you said, didn't worked. When i click "Manage Followed Content." for "No notifications", it just raise the page up and do nothing.

You may also need to go to "Account Settings"->"Notification Settings" and deselect the things you don't want. There are a lot of options in there, and you may need to scroll down.
