Yeah, wasn\'t exactly going for subtle with this one. You have to be careful around the first stage detachment, the three control engines last longer than the thrusters, so chop the throttle before jettisoning the stage.

I\'m not OP, but I would assume it\'s to avoid sticky-launchpad problems and/or engines breaking off.

Better question why are there fuel lines connected to the tanks on top of tri-couplers which fuel already flow through.
