MK3 Cargo SSTOs?

I would like a MK3 cargo SSTO with a lifting capacity of 5t, and (maybe, just maybe) has enough dV to get to Laythe, because I want to be able to fly my PodPlane on Laythe. Sorry if my post sounds greedy, but I'm too dumb/lazy to make a proper SSTO

Well, if you had to do it with available-right-now equipment, I would tell you to load a Claymore with the Podplane, a Drive Pod pointing to the back of the payload bay, and as much liquid fuel as you can fit in the remaining room... But if you were doubly smart about it, you would realize that you don't need the whole SSTO to make the trip to Laythe: lift the payload attached to a transfer stage, and you can recover the expensive SSTO while the PodPlane continues to Laythe on a cheap disposable 2.5m stage.

Rune. I don't tend to do long-range airbreathing SSTOs, because all the air equipment is dead weight in space.

A quick Google showed me that quite a lot of people have made genuine MK3 SSTL (single stage to Laythe).

Have a look there and there are many, many others. If you find none that carry the weight (there probably are lots) go with a rocket or what Rune suggested an SSTO that meets with a transfer stage in Kerbin orbit.

oh yeah, I just need something to get it into LKO, and i also think it'd be cool to have it VTOL out of the cargo bay when the SSTO has landed on Laythe. And the specific reason for it being an SSTO is because the COM isn't in line with the docking port in front, meaning no conventional rockets, and if I changed that it'd look stupid.
