How do I change where fuel deposits are?

Is there a way to change the fuel map in the game if you don't like where the deposits are sitting?

If you mean where the ore is, I don't think so. You're kinda just given what you're given. If necessary, you can move to a different body for your mining operation.

Each time you start a new KSP game (career, or science, or sandbox), it picks a random "seed" (this is a number) and uses that for determining the distribution of all the ore deposits.

I believe you can "roll the dice" again by going into your save file, finding the seed, and editing it to be a different number.  This doesn't let you decide where the deposits are, just gives you a shot at a new random distribution.

I say that I believe that to be the case, I don't actually know that for sure and have never tried it.  If you decide to go tinkering with your save file, I'd strongly recommend keeping a backup copy in case you munge something.

    {
        name = ResourceScenario
        scene = 5, 7, 6
        RESOURCE_SETTINGS
        {
            GameSeed = 316199528
            MaxDeltaTime = 21600
        }
    }

GameSeed is the number Snark was talking about. I don't know what MaxDeltaTime is.

 No, me and a buddy are playing multiplayer (DMP) and we needed to have the same fuel seed.
