Guys don't get your hopes up. He likely will quit very very soon, as he is easily stumped.

He's just too inexperienced and lacks proper resources. You may be thinking,  "but he can view Scott Manley tutorials". Issue is, Scott can explain the mechanics as best he possibly can, issue is, Jack's mind (like most other Youtubers) is not properly set for it. Even if they were, they will always take the easy, stupid way out (blowing up rockets and killing kerbals). 

I'm sadly speaking from experiance. I had the same hopes and expectations from Markiplier but they were all crushed until recently in his 8 hour livestream. The wait for a return to KSP was far too prolonged. 

Just don't get your hopes up. He's not mentally set for it, and once the series burns it's initial appraisal, he will end it in preference for another series that does.

As we all will be, if he does. Sadly I'd say he'd slow the series after 5 or 6 since the game gets harder after the initial career mode start as well as more boring. So he likely will slow down and eventually, it will simply vanish.

I guess I'm old, I had to google the name and found his youtube vids.  9 million subscribers and his latest KSP video has had half a million views in a day!  That's some great free advertising for KSP, so long as some of his subscribers don't share the mindset Zoo suggests he has.

He may receive that many, but as the series ages, so will its popularity and views per video. It's not a mind set, it's statistics. It's true for any series and also most Youtubers like Markiplier. 

As to the free advertising of KSP, it is that. No doubt this will cause a momentary rise in activity, however as the series fades, so will the hype. I personally feel that as he struggles, he may scare off the players who have not played KSP, as they will see it as difficult and not as interesting as other games, since they don't feel the achievement and freedom of doing it themselves. It's very one sided. However as PR people always say, "there's no such thing as bad publicity".
