No, seriously, what the heck does " √" even mean? I've seen it so often on so many posts, it's not even funny. How do you pronounce it? I NEED ANSWERS NOW!!!!

I find that this usually happens when, for some stupid reason, the apostrophe is rendered as U+02BC instead of ASCII 39. Same with double quotes and U+201C/U+201D
