What an amazing springtime

Fixed the door on my shed and looked up, thought someone might enjoy the view as well.  Mind you, I bought the house last September so I'm still discovering its rhythms.

Wow. I miss living in my old house with my mom, it is on the suburbs with trees and dogs and birds and an actual dark-ish sky to use my 5" newtonian. Huge, lovely, terrain. I still live in a house (can't stand apartments), but it's more downtown now.

But then, it's not just my mom's terrain, but the family's. Both my uncles' and my aunt's house are on the same plot, and my wife and me are gathering out money so we'll build there, too. :)

He's right, man! I've noticed it too, when I came back yesterday. Maybe it's living in a pretty place that's getting under your skin? ;)

Wow, where do you live? My house is in the middle of a huge suburban community, outside Toronto. I have never seen people who live in those kinds of places.

Anyway, my spring isn't going so well...

According to his location it's Eugene, Oregon.

Ask me how happy I am when that tree starts dumping rotten cherries all over the lawn. :D  Fortunately I know an arborist, but I have a sneaking suspicion he's going to tell us we need to lop off pretty much the entire top of that lovely tree.

@Matuchkin, I hope things get better for you.  Things aren't entirely peachy for me either (or anyone, I suspect) which is why I love little moments like these, kills the stress.  So much wonder in life.

Woke up today, everything outside the house was frozen. And that was after two days of summer weather. WHAT A NICE DAMN SPRING.
