How do I add purple/pink tags to my forum threads?

An Example: RoverDude's Threads.

I could be wrong.  I just vaguely thought I recalled something about that.  (And I don't know whether @nightingale put that tag on there himself.)

I put it on myself.  There was some mis-configurations in the forum software (when we first switched over to IPS) and I briefly had the ability to add the "purple tags" (I forget their actual name now).  I lost that ability, and the threads that have been purple tagged are slowly dying away as I edit the first post (I think that's the last one, and will be gone when it gets updated for 1.1 in the next couple week).

The official name, according to IPS, is prefixes.  I remember getting into the forums when it wasn't complete yet.  There was one point when I was the only one on...
