HoloYolo
The orange suits have woken up one day to a strange world. After a little bit of exploration, they find a place called "CApE CaNAVEral". Inside one of the buildings, they find a book on what appears to be "this" solar system. They spot a Duna-like planet in which the last inhabitants of this place have called "Mars". They have also discovered that other kerbals have come with them to this place. This place is called Earth. They engineered what they had on Kerbin, but they found out that the parts were made for, well, Kerbin. They will have to find ways to be efficient, small, and safe. After all, this atmosphere is quite high and hot. This is a strange world. Jeb has taken control of all space operations. We prepare for are launches into space, and beyond. At a meeting, Bill proclaims that we must head to Mars, or at least the inner solar system. They agree, and begin to prepare long term missions. Mods List (Some will be added and removed) RSS (Textures are at the highest) FAR DRE VOID KJR EVE (not working as of now) KAC Distant Object Enhancement KW Rocketry (Redux) TAC Life Support and more to come. In my opinion, for now leave it a mystery... I remember there being a show on Discovery or some such channel called Life after People. The opening line was something like: "This isn't the story of what happened to humankind, but of what happened on Earth the day after they were gone." I'm already liking where you're going with this. HoloYolo
Explosion of the V1 Flilily "HOW COULD'VE THIS HAPPENED BILL?! YOU ASSURED ME THIS WOULD'VE WORKED!"-Jeb, Year One, Day 2 Bill, after a heated argument with Jeb, Val, and Bob, convinced them that building "Kabooming Rockets" could help them figure out how things fly around here. Hastily prepared, the V1 Flilily was the first in a series of many rockets to come. This rocket however, instead of being a stepping stone, was a fantastic failure. A few minutes after the crash, Jeb found Bill, creating the V2 version. Bill did not know of the failure, bet Jeb assured him. He was struck with fear. What if a kerbal was on board a similar version? Jeb said to all kerbals that rockets should be postponed until horizontal spaceflight was at least mastered, as wings and aerodynamics were the main cause of the failure. Bill switches to a hypothetical design called the K-wing. To be continued.

HoloYolo
Failure of the KWing prototype "Even with these failures, Bill, we must send a kerbal into space soon, or face failure of the remnants of the Kerbal."-Jeb, Year 1 Day 3 The KWing was an aircraft that had two stages. The jets would get the SRB to a fast enough velocity, then the SRB would escort the future kerbal pilot into the high atmosphere. However, it suffered the same problems as the V1 Fliliy. It went to fast too low, and ended the flight in a disaster. (For some reason it wont work) Jeb tells Bill that a probe must hit space soon, so as to get a kerbal there next. Bill prepares the Kostok, and says that designs like these could propel a kerbal to more than orbit, and maybe even the grey rock these last inhabitants called the "Moon". HoloYolo
ProbeSpacey's Major Footstep "Bill, I don't know what happened, but the probe worked! It really worked!"- Jeb, Year 1, Day 4 It was a proud day for the remnants of Kerbalkind. The first probe ever to hit space, and orbit, ProbeSpacey, has been memorialized as an orbit museum. The whole Cape is in celebration. Everyone is excited that kerbal parts still operate properly on this world. Mars is no longer far away, it is an orange dot down the road from the Moon. The mission was a step in the right direction. The direction to Mars, that is. Eugene muched on his sandwich, when signals from an unknown source were picked up. He quickly put on his headset and listened closely. The signal buzzed,"Passengers zzzzzzzzzz initiate burn zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Pluto zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Earth zzzzzzzzzzzzzz." The transmission then cut off. Eugene quickly called back the station team and Jeb. Jeb said that the signal was just the feedback of mission control, and left quickly to join back to the celebrations. Eugene, however, did not believe him. He knew this wasn't just "feedback". The signal, however, could not be found again. Maybe it was just feedback. He leaned back and continued his meal. Bill, at the VAB, was discussing with other engineers on how to return a kerbal once he was in orbit. If that could be achieved, the Moon would be the next stop on the road. HoloYolo
Jonner Kerman saves the space program and the species "Jonner, I'd like to thank you for saving the kerbals. It's a real honor to have you pilot that rocket. I mean, damn, that's a huge rocket."-Jeb, Year 1, Day 20 Bill has made his second successful design. The KerbalBringer has brought the first kerbal to space, orbit, and back again. Jeb reported that we should take "strides", and not steps, in order to get to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. It was great for everyone. Bill had just discovered that NERVAs can run on only liquid fuel, and prepared many designs for Moon missions. Meanwhile, Eugene sat at the Tracking Station. No signal today, might as well head out. As he left, the signal played yet again, though it was not a transmission. When he discovered the recording, he saved it on an archive. Meanwhile, at mission control, Jeb gave the orders to set an alarm for the next Mars transfer. He was sure that they could hit Mars by Year 2. The future was bright with hope. To the Moon! Matuchkin
You might be able to get to the moon. But don't try to put astronauts on Mars. Just don't. I even have a hard time getting to the Moon in my game. But landing, achieving orbit again, and managing to splashdown back on Earth with stock parts will be too hard. I can get to Neptune WITHOUT gravity assists and Pluto is only so far away. It's easier than you think.

HoloYolo
We've Been to the Mu...Moon! "These missions, have been unearthing more than just planets, more than future landing sites"-Jeb. Year 1, Day 30 With many successful missions, the Cape has been in full work mode. Rockets are now being made more often, and many mission ideas have been sparked. Jeb and the other kerbals have a spark of hope. Can they stay here? Is this the next place for kerbalkind? Only time will tell. Eugene was again at the tracking station, planning when it was best to go to Mars. This time, there was a signal. It went, "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzWelcomezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzPlutozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzEarthzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz2351zzzzzzzzzzzzzzChristmaszzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. It then ended. Jeb was called, and finally, he confirmed that it was a radio signal. They just have no idea where or how they got it. Maybe it could be other kerbals? Or maybe it was someone else. Meanwhile, Bill was designing a manned craft that could meet up with another person in orbit. This was for the future Moon missions, as a direct landing would make a bigger, and less efficent rocket. Bob realized that these signals must be far away, or else they coudl've tracked it by now. He said that maybe instead of heading inwards herewe should focus on the outer system. The "book" as it was dubbed, said that there was 4 planets out there, and a dwarf. Sadly, the names were scribbled out. Not the pictures, though. Bill said that their technolgy could reach all 5 places, but the rockets would be huge no matter what way they chose to fly it. We could do it, but it wouldn't be easy, but because it is hard. To be continued. Also, shout out to @katateochi! He replied to the Imgur album! Edited May 7, 2016 by HoloYolo
