Infinite batteries?

When you're in the tracking station and accelerate time x100000, battery power of probes without any power source don't change.

During flight, it vanishes in no time (normal behaviour).

 

Just put any probe core on the launch pad, go to tracking station and fast forward as long as you want, come back look at the part.

 

(Windows, 1.1.2, 32 or 64, new install from zip)

This is part of a larger ... I won't say issue because it's more of just a fact of the game. Nothing is processed in the background, and with very few exceptions (ISRU comes to mind) the game doesn't keep track of the things and set them to what they "would" be when you come back. They're just ignored if you're not using them.

This is very well known both in the community and by Squad.

Oh, it was working this way in 1.0.5 and before too and I never noticed?!?

Yep, even then it was and is only the craft that has focus that uses electricity.
