SRB Thrust Curve Mod

When browsing the forums yesterday, I saw a mod that allowed two thrusts to be set on SRBs, one for when it's full, and one for when it's empty. The mod would then gradually reduce thrust to meet these sliders, behaving somewhat like a thrust curve. Now, I made the rookie error of not bookmarking it. Anyone know the mod?

@MrMeeb There was a shuttle mod which had a little plugin bundled with it. The name was EngineThrustController, but it stopped working in 1.1

Felbourn says it has been a feature of the RealFuels for quite a while.

or a MM patch to add thrustCurve to SRB parts.

How would one go about using MM to add thrustCurves? What module would I need to the SRB part, and does adding thrustCurves not require other mods?

no, thrustCurve is part of ModuleEngine and ModuleEngineFX, controls fuel flowrate based on ratio of fuel remaining. You check for parts that use SolidFuel and add thrustCurve{} to it's engine module.

The difference with my Variable SRB limiter is that it makes that thrust curve editable ingame (yes I do use the thrust curve internally now, and it will *probably* work with SRB's that already use thrust curve...), although only by linear ratios across the burn

Editable in game is awesome. linear interpolation is more predictable than specifying keys in the part config too. Win win!
