Make the Sun Kerbol

Kol, or Suun would be fine by me.  

 

I wish people would stop using Kerbonauts.  That one bugs me.

Since the largest moon of Kerbin is called Mun and not The moon I think the sun should have an original name.

I would be ok with kerbol, but some other name would be ok too.

If "Moon" becomes "Mun" then clearly "Sun" should become "Soon".

Make Kerbin > Kerbol

 

Kerbol makes more sense because its inhabitants are called Kerbals and not Kerbinians

Wouldn't the correct term be Kerbolians then? Or Kerbolics ?

Perhaps a more utilitarian approach would be to name them for what they do rather than where they're from - Kerblams?

It should be Kerbolians, but it's not uncommon in sci-fi to call Terrestrials "Terrans" so you can apply the same reasoning to "Kerbolians" to get "Kerbals"

 

Either way, it makes more sense to call the home-planet "Kerbol" rather than the star.

You could argue for the name "Kerba" but meh...
