I figured out the problem with the landing gears

Landing gear tires are supposed to be inflated with Nitrogen, which is an inert gas.
however, one of the Kerbals in the tire service department got confused and used Nitroglycerine instead, causing them to explode upon impact or stress.

We don't know how many tires are affected so we're just going to have to dispose of them all and order new ones.
delivery should arrive shortly, so please wait until then.

So a solution would be to deflate all the tires before landing! That would definitely solve our problem and not cause bigger problems!

My main problem is that after touchdown my planes keep bouncing off the tarmac... so this might actually be a good solution. That or covering the landing strip with jelly. At the very least it would make landing delicious.

@SpacedCowboy added this phrase inside the quote:

"Charlie 3 this is KSC Tower, umh, good luck with that!"

PS - It occurs to me that I may have gone a bit obscure, even for this crowd, with the phonetic C3H5N3O9 reference.
