Radar altimeter for computer-controlled vessels

Crewed vessels have a useful radar altimeter but computer-piloted ones does not and this is a glaring issue for me landing sometimes with limited fuel.

This is a feature that's missing from KSP. It's very even better if it shows an AGL altitude readout in third person.

It has been suggested on other threads that AGL be the default altitude displayed when in 'surface' mode.  This to me is a good solution.  In the meantime I will use KER to show that.

I find the stock 'vertical speed indicator' dial next to the altitude display perfectly adequate and easy to read.

So much this. This mod implements the ideal behavior for me, and as a bonus calculates altitude from the lowest part rather than the root.

Radar altitude also makes so much more technical sense; really, the sea-level gauge should only work on worlds with an atmosphere. (they rely on a pressure reading)
