This mod has been on my mind for a while. And i would have to say that with my most recent progress the mod is almost ready for an initial release. A few bugs here and there to be expected. Certainly not career ready yet. But if anyone is interested...

Storyline below

Spoiler

A wormhole was discovered, It led to a tiny version of the kerbal universe, Infested with hostile aliens. The kerbals built a 20km wide space station and sent it through, Now you must explore this universe and fight the Aliens.

Screenshots coming soon

"Lil' Bits" - Everything here is tiny, even the planets xDD The "Lil' Bits" commercial from Rick and Morty was the first thing that came to my mind, when I read the thread name, even though "Lil' Bits" is about food.

On a more serious note though, this sounds oddly interesting :D

Tiny planets need extra love. Can you still land on Gilly?

Yep. Its 130m wide now :D

I'm working on a similar project called Spore Mode, aiming to replicate the size and closeness of spore planets.

Interesting... My plans were to with my mod eventually use Kerbal Konstructs to cover the planets with awesome artifacts, And make more solar systems around them, it works really well since the entire Kerbol system is smaller than the Kerbin-Mun system and makes for a really cool game. IMO full scale solar systems are boring, Waiting hours to complete a burn, And then several minutes going at a totally inadequate time warp level. This makes exploration fun and easy.

Oh and BTW one correction to what i said in the OP: The orbit sizes are actually around 1/10000th :P So look forward to those Jool rises from Kerbin!

Also if anyone is interested i have been having trouble with scaling, Kerbin, Eve, And Laythe, I've managed to somewhat tame the spikes on the first 2 but i have no idea how to get them to be properly scaled.

Let's see.

Gilly diameter=26km.

26/1000=0.26

Gilly is now 260 meters in diameter. Some ships are bigger than that.

Kerbin Diameter = 1200KM.

New Kerbin Diameter is 12KM, or about five times the runway length. On the plus side, you don't need to worry about finding Easter eggs...

Kerbin's atmosphere: 700 meters. Good luck with planes. Eve SSTO is easy now...

1/1000th size solar system

Kerbin Diameter: 1.2 Kilometers, or about half of the runway. I don't know how that would work.

Gilly Diameter: 26 meters. Smaller than an asteroid. Can I deorbit a moon, yet? Still has gravity.

Kerbin's atmosphere: 70 meters. The VAB is in space, now. So is the Pyramid. Might be able to achieve orbital velocity with a cannon and a jetpack.

This has been done before. Outdated, but relevant. Another guy did a 1/100 scale solar system and ended up turning every planet into sonic the hedgehog, but I can't find the album.

I will certainly get this when it is finished!

You will make a 1/1000 and 1/10000 scale version.

(2 meter gilly FTW!)

You mean this^ :P Its in fact a prototype of TinyWorlds. Something i made long ago and was having issues with, My PQS skills have advanced since then and i have mostly resolved those issues. :)

If along with this mod you added slightly better physics, I would definitely at least try this! Gilly would make a nice asteroid!

1/1000 is a little small though. My biggest cruiser is out of the atmosphere. Gilly could fit in the main hanger. If I was on the pad with it's booster, it would reach past LKO.

1/100 might be a little better. Or maybe 1/500 or 1/200? Something sorta like that makes Minmus great for Rosseta-Philea things! Except Comet 67P isn't made of mint ice cream...

That might be a little small... A 2 Meter wide Gilly would be smaller than the size of a normal class A asteroid. You wouldn't be able to land on it, you'd have to dock with it. However, it would definitely be super awesome!
