I guess I would do the same thing I would for any other alien: show it our numbering system, pi, zero and negative numbers, i, then maybe it will show its system. After that, I call the IAU.

I would build them the rocket of their dreams in KSP and take the plans to NASA, who would recruit the Kerbals for the next mission to Duna, *Ahem,* "Mars," and the Kerbal would fly in his beautiful creation.

I would most likely hug him/her (kerbals are too cute not to be hugged), unless if he/she was made out of anti-matter.

If that was the case, I'd blow up because my room is literally filled with anti-anti-matter.

If it eats snacks its not a plant, although I have to retract the bug spray thing, for the sake of sciece I would have to capture it in a box and take it to the local biology department for [cough] study.

they digest the bugs (and small mammals) to get nutrients they can't get from the soil. (jungle soil is very poor as most of it's nutrients have been suck up by the trees) 

Google carnivorous plants. they have a whole host of different ways of catching things and eating them. ( I may  sound psychotic but I find it rather fascinating)

Probably look stunned for a few seconds, remember this thread, and pull out my reverse-Spanish translator to speak Kerbal. Then I would ask if he was Jebediah Kerman. If he was, then I would tell him to not blow up my house. Then I would ask to see his spaceship. If it ended up being the Intrepid from my mission reports, I would faint.

You know what, I'd be a smart person and do a few reality checks. The chances of me dreaming about Kerbals is incredibly disproportionately higher than the chance of real Kerbals existing within reach of our sun, visiting our planet, and winding up near a KSP player,  and that KSP player being me.
