This is the texture currently in use in Revamped Stock Solar System. Requires Kopernicus to use. Includes a matching biome map and bluish atmosphere shader.

Jupitery Jool Recolor
A texture pack for either Kopernicus or Texture Replacer that will replace Jool's texture with a stockalike Jupiter texture

For some people, Jool is just too darn green. So why not just make it completely not green at all? I bring you the JUPITERY JOOL RECOLOR.

Jupitery Jool Recolor can be used with either Texture Replacer or Kopernicus. The Kopernicus version contains more features, and I highly recommend it compared to the simpler texture replacer version.

TEXTURE REPLACER VERSION FEATURES

• Swirly storms
• Cloud bands and zones
• Great Red Spot
• Brown, white, and red color palette.
• Simple installation if you already have TextureReplacer installed.
• Ugly stock green atmosphere rims.

KOPERNICUS VERSION FEATURES

• Reworked planet description to remove reference to the green color.
• Reworked science definitions to remove reference to the green color.
• PlanetShine compatibility

• Download and install Module Manager if you don't already have it.
• Download and install Kopernicus.
• Download Jupitery Jool Recolor.
• Merge the contents of the folder Jool Recolor For Kopernicus into GameData.
• You should have the folder JupiteryJoolRecolor, Kopernicus, and the .dll ModuleManager in your GameData.
• Yay! You did it. Enjoy your Jupitery Jool Recolor.

TO INSTALL TEXTURE REPLACER VERSION:

• Download and install Texture Replacer if you don't already have it.
• Download Jupitery Jool Recolor.
• Merge the contents of the folder Jool Recolor for Kopernicus into GameData.

Yellow-Green Jool Recolor
A mod which makes Jool a much more reasonable shade of green

Formerly used in Revamped Stock Kerbol System, the Yellow Green Jool Recolor is a reasonably green planet to replace the violently green world that used to be. As Revamped Stock Solar System evolved, it needed an even more realistic texture, but I haven't forgotten about the Yellow Green Jool Recolor. Here it is.

It is important to note that this is not a TextureReplacer texture. This is a Kopernicus pack, which means you need to have Kopernicus and ModuleManager for this to work!

Revolting Jool Recolor
A mod which makes Jool "disgusting, in a the-universe-would-totally-produce-something-like-this way"

This is a Kopernicus texture pack. It does not use Texture Replacer. You must have Kopernicus and ModuleManager for this to work.

So I was trying to make the Revamped Stock Solar System Jool texture more realistic one day. I technically succeeded, in a way that made the planet looks like some hideous infection. In realitiy the reds and browns are supposed to be the natural cloud formations of the underlying Jupiter Recolor and the green was supposed to be algae that colonized certain parts of the world. Unfortunately it ended up looking horrible, in a realistic sort of way.

So I decided "why not embrace that ugliness?" and so I decided to release the Revolting Jool Texture pack.

I've got to do the Standalone RevSS Jool Recolor, the Spore Style Jool Recolor, the Standalone Alternis Jool Recolor, the Earthy/Muted/Brown-Green Jool Recolor, and am currently working on releasing the Revolting Jool Recolor.

Make sure you're using the correct version of Kopernicus (the latest version for the latest version of KSP).
