What's "Active Texture Manager"?

It was a mod, that modified how textures were loaded in RAM... It offered better performance, and allowed people to run more mods before hitting the 32bit 4GB RAM limit.... Its pretty much an outdated method though, since KSP 1.0 released. v1.0 introduced the use of .dds textures in the stock game, and ATM is pretty much obsolete now.
