Yes, I don't mean that

In 1X

And what Kerbal folder?

You know that KSP is categorized into folders, right? They have a folder for mods, they have a folder for Contracts, they have folder for photos of our crazy creations... and they have a folder for kerbals. I'll try to find the folder ID for you, but what OS are you running on?

Running the Steam version, on Windows. And yes, I know about the folders, I have just never seen a Kerbal folder.

My only means that I know of modifying the kerbals is the Persistent folder, but I can't change speed there.

There must be a Kerbal folder, I can't find it yet. Ill look at Persistent.

I was wondering, if it's possible to make kerbals run faster

Put the kerbal into orbit on a rocket with a ladder, and climb up and down. From the ground, it'll look like (s)he is running at 2300m/s plus or minus .1 ...

Moving to Gameplay Questions.

Every time I read this I always wonder: from where?  Anyways I'm just curious and usually it don't matter.

In this particular case,   looks to me that "add-on discussions"  is a better place to talk about a way to mod  kerbal's movement.

It's almost always from KSP Discussions, and if you just go over there you will see the indicator for the moved thread.

From what I know, you cannot modify a Kerbals movement speed without a MM config or otherwise accessing internal game data files which are normally inaccessible (and from what I may have heard, prohibited from accessing? May be wrong there). So you will likely need Unity or some other software which can read the files and convert them into something usable.

It would be simpler to ask for someone to create a MM config in the long run.

Hmm... I guess you're right...
