Miniature Probes, Rovers

Is there any word on parts that are smaller than Kerbals? Such as wheels and cores that can be used to make Mars- and Lunar-rover/lander/orbiter replicas.

The probe cores are already pretty small. Keep in mind Kerbals are only 1m high.

Some IRL rovers are on the scale of domestic cats, though.

The ultrasmall probodynes are really quite small, as are the micro wheels and micro landing legs.

TweakScale makes me really uncomfortable for some reason. Perhaps it's related to the fact that I'm a huge anti-part-clipping pedant and stock-like parts pack fanatic.

 

Or maybe it's because it breaks a couple of logical rules sometimes.

I don't think you can put any KSP science instruments on a cat. Very small rovers will be the most useless thing in KSP.

Keep in mind Curiosity is the size of a small SUV, roughly 10' by 9'. That'd be a bloody big cat.

Well, I sure wouldn't want that one pooping on my lawn.   I have enough trouble with the little ones.
