Introducing the F-2 Thunderhawk, a Mach 1+ interceptor

It's stats are on view here. It can turn at a maximum of 10 gs when at ~250 m/s.

It is very easy to modify for a variety of missions, such as attack, bomber, ELINT, AWACS, etc.

It's creation was a complete accident. I was going for an F-14 or B-1-ish look, form over function, and when I launched, it flew like a beast. A few modifications later, I came to this.

It does look really cool man. I can't help but think it would get more views/downloads if it was stock. Any reason why it can't be?

Well... i like that cockpit, but M2X and Moar can be removed. Tweakscale, on the other hand... meh

Well that's spiffy looking. I'm going to have to download it next time I'm at my pc and give'er a whirl (and hunt for where the moar mk1 parts are in this build )

It looks very cool.  I wonder if it could be modified to have variable sweep wings?

@Rath-- yes, i do have a variable-geometry variant, but that adds another mod (stock hinges ain't my thing) and in high-g turns, they flap. If you really want, I can post a download

The thing I found useful for my own variable geometry wings was making the hinge fairly large (Tweakscale is almost needed for IR) and hiding it in a mid wing fuel tank.

The other thing is having more wing inside the wing/body, to even ought the forces.
