What would you say about this

There are a number of applications for such things but suitable products already exist so I don't know how much demand there is. You might also want to look at getting that mostly non-toxic liquid to be just a non-toxic liquid. Volatility is also important for some applications.

  • Bitrex,  is added to various products as a safety measure to make them taste nasty and stop children eating them.
  • Methane is odorless so sulphur compounds are added to natural gas supplies so that the gas can be detected by smell.
  • A smelly liquid sounds as though it might be useful for testing deodorants, air fresheners and other products designed to mask foul odors.
  • More controversially, vomiting agents have been proposed as non-lethal crowd control measures. A horribly smelly liquid might work for that.

I can confirm that this A) has a very very stong and bad smell, and B) is mostly harmless, may be a skin/eye/lung irritant. If you somehow became covered in it, you'd probably be fine.

Im not sure of the particular component used, but I have heard of odourants being used as non-lethal crowd dispersal/area denial agents.

Pyridines also smell god-danged awful (from experience) but are quite toxic.

Heh, looks like the idea has been around a while.

I dont know if it is non-toxic or toxic. But i filtered water from a weird combination of plants i found, added some lemonade to it, and let it rot for a couple of months. When i first took the thing of the small bottle and i took a smell, it smelled horrible, it was very strong too. I made it when i was a boy messing around. But i still dont exactly know what it has become. Im 100% sure it is not a killer virus so dont worry.

Reminds me of the time [when very young] I took a random assortment of pills from the medicine cupboard and mixed them all up with water in a jar, you know, for science. First, it made my parents FREAK, understandably, then when my dad opened the jar, the smell made him puke...
