Reverting to a world of darkness

I was flying a plane and I crashed and then I reverted to launch like I usually do. When I reverted the screen went black with the altimeter saying 0. But i was able to switch to IVA by pressing C and the cockpit and Kerbin are loaded normally, except for the sky was dark, but it was supposed to be early morning at the KSC. I was able to take off and fly around a bit in IVA, except for everything went dark a few times, but these were "fixed' by switching in and out of IVA. After I crash landed near the runway, recovering the craft crashed game. The crash window is here. http://i.imgur.com/YsShDXS.png

There wasn't a crash folder created.

Just a bug..... Kinda like Hell Kraken. Reload KSP; I've had it happen a couple of times......

It shouldn't mess with anything....

A crash folder is not what @JPLRepo mentioned.  If you read the post he linked, it describes (in detail)  what we modders normally need.
