41 BK: The NKR uses kinetic penetrators from a secret orbital battle station to cripple AUSK naval fleet and push back the Blue Army into the arctic tundra.

42 BK: The Windward Spirit, an ambitious mission to the Jool system, is launched. The Jool system was chosen because it was reasoned that if something should go wrong and the ship should crash into Jool or one of its moons, the damage would at least be hard to notice from that far away whereas if it hit the Mun everyone would see the big crater it left. For so was the state of Kerbal astronautics at the time... However, this ruling is kept a secret for fear of public backlash.

43 BK: realizing that they could not win a war against the NKR. The AUSK launches a secret mission to send prominent kerbal socialists, scientists and soliders to a secret Dres base to one day invade kerbin . They chose does because no one knows that dres exists yet.

44 BK: The AUSK invents a super weapon called the K.R.A.K.E.N. this will interfere with NKR ships and it i place in the Joolian system. This super weapon will ensure than know one finds out about the Dres Base. this weapon was made to look like an alien so that the NKR or any other nation winds out that the AUSK was behind this.

Btw this was to explain the early Kapollo disaster and the windward spirit's communication loss.

Early 45 BK: The AUSK nuclear physics research program comes to an end when their research facility blows up and leaves a sizable crater in the ice. I take Kerbin Side as canon for this thread and it's the North Pole Bio-Dome Research Center in this map.

Late 46 BK: the AUSK nuclear program is successful in making 8 ICBM warheads (these will be put on the Dres base). they are now starting to experiment with He-3 reactors.

47 BK: Gene Kerman is born to a wealthy family in the NKR.

48 BK: Operation Nor'easter is enacted by the AUSK and Blue army tanks Storm past the 89th parallel into NKR territory this marks the beginning of International Kerbal War-2 or IKW-2. The ONSC is bombed destroying the Launchpad and the Rods From the Gods-1 Spacecraft.

Late 49 BK: Operation Fire from the Skies started by NKR, constructing the Rods From the Gods-1 orbital bombardment platform. Widely considered impractical and overambitious.

Early 49 BK: AUSK boffins discover fission, and get to work on a fission bomb.

Indeed it was, but AUSK is still around on Dres. Later around year 26 the AUSK (now DUSK) tries to invade Kerbin and captures all of its territory that it had before IKW-2. they used the K.R.A.K.E.N a whole lot in that war.

Late 50 BK: Scientists at the AUSK discover Eeloo.

Early 50 BK: tensions rise between the AUSK and the NKR after the NKR sinks one AUSK Blue November class submarines.

53 BK: Bop is discovered in orbit of Jool, bringing its total number of known moons to five. Due to limitations in telescope technology, a mission to send a ship to investigate up-close is planned, and construction begins on the Windward Spirit.

54 BK: Bat Kerbal's sidekick, Robin Kerman, betrays him to become the new Jokerb, but is shortly thereafter defeated. Tired of all the crazy shenanigans, Cat Kerbal retires and settles down to start a family with her husband, Kerbal Inkredible.

60 BK: Superkerbal and General Kod face off in an epic battle which destroys several buildings and leaves thousands of Kerbals in a panic. Bat Kerbal is displeased, but knows better than to let himself get goaded into picking a fight.

Early 60 BK: A band of tall pink aliens calling themselves "hoo-mans," led by General Kod, parks a spacecraft over Distrikt K and begins attempting to take over Kerbin. Elsewhere, an oddly tall pink Kerbal with mysterious powers decides to start calling himself "Superkerbal" and begins training his mind and body to repel the invaders.

62 BK: an Einstein-Rosen Bridge is observed briefly forming at Jool's L1 Lagrange point. During the 13 minutes between its opening and collapse, at least 120 distinct high-speed objects are detected emerging from it at various angles and accelerating towards the inner solar system. Linguistic analysis of transmissions suggests affiliation with species known as the "hoo-mans."

63 BK: The deep-space monster enters Kerbin's atmosphere and disintegrates due to heat. Kerbalkind breathes a sigh of relief.

Year 64 BK: Two unidentified kerbals came across a small portal in the crater of the first thermonuclear detonation and one travels through the portal. Her friend was found nearby with a gunshot wound, saying that a light brown hand had reached out holding a large gun and shot him.
