[1.2 Steam] Crash when reverting to vehicle assembly

Hi, I am not sure where to post my crash reports so I just try it here

I had this crash several times now, always after playing for more than two hours (not sure if that's a coincidence).

The crash does only happen when I revert to Vehilce of Space Plane Assembly. The game just crashes to the desktop when I clicked the button.

I can't view the error log since i'm on mobile, but how often do you get the crashes? if it's only occasionally, then that's completely normal. If you get one every time then you should try doing some things (i.e see if it happens on a different save or after reinstalling KSP) to try to narrow down what's causing it

This was the fourth time in five days, it happens about every four or five hours, so I can live with it. Just wanted to be sure to report it

NullReferenceException

  at VPWheelCollider.UpdateVisualWheel () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 
  at VehiclePhysics.VehicleBase.LateUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

It suggests there is something wrong with the install, can you please try verifying the cache for KSP in Steam, thank you.

I checked the files with steam, it found and redownloaded one file.

I could play for some time and then the game crashed again, this time when I wanted to recover my landed vessel (so again when I left the flying mode).

The crash.dmp file can't be uploaded. It has 0 Byte in size and when I open it with editor it is empty :/

After this crash I checked the files again and steam found another corrupt file and redownloaded it... What the hell is wrong?
