Mk2 Spaceplane Cockpit Bugs!!

Anyone else notice this?

All different views of the same bug, the interior model is bigger then the mask and external model, resulting in weird MC Escher overlaps from inside and outside.

Also....

This is from SP+ years ago.  Was that flag stock (now gone) or is that from RPM being installed?

Is it related to the train bug by any chance? Inner cockpits actually detach and follow the root parts axis if  a ships bendy

.or has two cockpits like a DMU either end..looks similar..sad really..goes back years

This is a cockpit and nothing else launched to the runway.  It doesn't matter where tho, even in unity you can clearly see the overlap.

Ahh unrelated then..best of luck solving it..IVAs seem to suffer alot..and for alot of us..its a critical part of flying and driving

I'd have to have the source files.  I just got done making an IVA, and had the same problems, though not this bad. There are 3 models in play.  The interior you see, the black band around the cut outs you see from the outsife, and the invisible model that defines the "holes" you see through from the outside ( the mask model).  If they touch, or cross one another (inside is bigger then the mask) this is the result...

Source files? Where you're going, you don't need... source files.

Note, however, that it does't support animated materials yet, so you might have to do some hacking, but as can be seen from some of the utilities in there, mu.py allows for the creation of some powerful tools.
