What is the point of asteroid day any more??

Hi guys!

I was thinking of getting the asteroid day mod, but then I saw a @Kottabos mod review for it, and realized that after it was posted, 3 out of the 4 parts were added to the game stock....

What is the point of the 1 telescope piece, when I can find/make another mod with that telescope piece, and about 8 others for personal use??

It's not so much about the actual part now, but the mod also adds in several contracts for detecting and capturing or deflecting asteroids.

And those contracts can get handy in careerplay, no need to build new vessels for additional  surveys.

so what your saying is, I can get a mod with 1 part and contracts, or combine this mod with my own parts and end up with a mod that has about 5 parts and contracts? I'll take the later.....
