Isn't that how normal clocks work? Because I am lazy I just did it using the degrees minutes seconds function on my scientific calculator Also when do we need to submit are times by? A good equalizer between those who will race a stage at a time, and those who will Andretti the whole thing.

Not sure what you mean here, but the challenge will be up January 1st, that's when you can submit your time. When submitting please use the spoiler function so the 14 screenshots will not clutter the thread. ( I might open a new thread just for the results, not sure yet... 58 minutes ago, regex said: You come to a complete stop at each checkpoint, is that part of the rules? Yes, this challenge is based on the real Dakar rally. 26 minutes ago, DrunkenKerbalnaut said: I assumed this. We all have slightly different expectations, but somebody has to make the call. You could say explicitly that my rover is not allowed, because you don't like the color. I would find you pedantic, but I would still race . Heres hoping we get a bit more than 8!

I think simply changing the header line in .sfs (version = 1.2.2) will work. EDIT: it seems there is a few fields near the top that reference version number. We don't need something so simple getting in the way. Can you confirm which lines you had to change to get it to work? Just the topmost (line3) or all the version lines? Triop
Just to see who will be realy entering this challenge, leave a like if you do, don't give a like if you don't. That way I can see some names. -DrunkenKerbalnaut. -hidude398 -TheEpic...wait, why am I writing these names down ? hidude398
@DrunkenKerbalnaut It was just one of the the top lines, it said something along the lines of Version. I just changed 1.2.2 to 1.2.1 without any issues. Would it be appropriate to post a picture of the craft I'll likely use to attempt this feat? Just noticed something strange: The flags aren't appearing in the map.

hidude398
Nope. Still nothing. If you give me the coordinates, though, I can hyperedit my Kerbals to each location and plant a flag.
