About

Reworked Stock System is a modification that improves the stock system by changing by replacing terrain.

Installation

To install this mod you have to: 

  1. Install Kopernicus. 
  2. Download mod release from Github 
  3. Remove old mod directory from your game data folder ( If exists.) 
  4. Unzip downloaded .zip archive.
  5. Move contents of mod GameData folder into your game GameData folder. 
  6. Run the game.

Credits 

Ikarus and Demin uses Phobos height map from http://planetpixelemporium.com/ 

I also used textures from this page as a base for editing. 

Eeloo uses Moon map from http://depthfields.com/downloads/tag/moon-displace-heightmap-craters/

Eve uses Tekto height map from Outer Planets mod, all credits for this map goes to OPM developers and contributors.

Uh, I just realized that I made stupid mistake when I was packing everything for relase. I packed all files into wrong directory ( Everything in mod Game Data folder should be inside ReSS_V0.3 directory but it Isn't  ). 

I just uploaded hot fix, so you can download mod once again and it will work fine or you can create ReSS_V0.3 directory inside your GameData directory and move all mod contents into it.

Yes, but later. Kerbin and Mun have relatively good quality terrain and they are still planets with poor

 terrain like Moho or Eeloo so I'm going to rework them first. Also I have to finally update biomes , which will take huge amount of work.

@Bill2462 so i installed it and everything looks great! However I didn't have much time so just a question, does duna/minmus use the stock biom map? Also with duna when you zoom from far away to closer you can see the stock duna and this reworked duna fade in and out (stock duna far away, modded duna closer)

Yes, all objects are using stock biom maps. Hovever I'm going to change them in version V1.1 . 

Unfortunatly I can't recreate this bug on my KSP installation. Can you give more details about it ? Is it happening any time ? And when is it happening ? When you are using map view or when you are flying your spacecraft above duna ?

Its just in the tracking station, and its no biggy

V1.0 has been finally released!

Community resource pack will work fine, my mod only replaces terrain maps, nothing else.

And yes, they are new objects, two small duna moons ( I forgot to add screenshots ): ). If you don't like them, you can simply remove  " duna_moons directory from a mod main directory. But I'm going to remove them in the next release anyway. ( There is a bugfix coming soon because I decided that Gilly terrain could be better. I'm also going to remove those two additional duna moons and move their Heightmaps to Gilly and Bop. Also, Eeloo look's amazing from orbit but from the surface, it isn't so I'm going to fix it. )

Okay, I finally decided to try it myself. I had moons and planets disappearing, while on other moons and planets the terrain was indeed ReSS-altered. Tested with the newest Kopernicus.

So, I guess you can say it is not compatible.
