Losing fuel while drilling

Hi everyone,

I have a 'stupid' question I cannot find an answer to: My probe is losing fuel while drilling, even though the fuel meter shows a flow of 0. My drills overheat, even though I have to Gigantor panels and to Edge coolers ...

Yeah, that's right. Rene. You've need an screenshot showing also the fuel bar for help! It sound strange that because now I've had an vessel mining and it don't loose fuel... I've don't had IRSU, it can be the IRSU or other thing. As you say Monstah that's right.

I assume you are drilling on an asteroid. As far as overheating goes, that's a known bug that is being worked on.

As far as "losing fuel" goes -- like the previous posters said, we need more info. Version number, mods installed, and pix.

The Gigantor panels are solar energy collectors, and will not help with heat dissipation.

For the heat you must use radiators.

I don't suppose you have fuel cells running to generate the power?

Not the question was stupid, but me

I forgot to turn on the Edge cooling panels which led to overheating which obviously led to fuel loss.

Um, overheating still shouldn't cause fuel loss. Nothing should cause fuel loss, except fuel cells and thrusting.

Note rates by the resource bars in the resource panel are DEPLETION rates. So if your Fuel shows, e.g.   10.02    (-0.02) that means you're GAINING fuel at 0.02 unit per second.

I am aware of that. The funny thing is, that it shows 0.00 all the time while the fuel goes down. And I do not have any fuel cells aboard ...
