Hello and a status report from my first mission to Minmus

Hello to all.

 

I had to tell someone who might care so I'm putting it here.  :-)  I'm just now landing from my first flight to Minmus.  I only had enough delta-V to enter Kerbin atmosphere on the return trip.  Given that, I had to "airbreak" 3 times in the atmosphere to slow down enough to drop to the ground.  LOL.  It took all my battery power too (as I was trying to stay retrograde).

 

I hope my next flight to Minmus isn't so "close" to failure.  :-P

Close to failure? Nah. Close to failure is getting out and pushing.

I love Minmus for it's varied terrain. I've got a station orbiting it and a base on it's surface. Congrats on getting there and back!
