Custom Kerbals

Hey guys,

I would like to give my Kerbals new names (and maybe even new skins). I watched some YouTube tutorials, but I guess they are not up to date. I'm no programmer or so and I could really need some help

When I open the persistent.sfs document, I don't find the Kerbals like in the tutorials.

Hit alt-F12 to open the debug menu, look down the list for "Kerbals," and then click "create" to make one with the name and stats of your choosing. New skins would require modding, though. Maybe look around the modding subforum?

I know there are some mods for the skins and i'm going to check them out..

For changing kerbal names, you could also mess with the persistence file as well

There also Kerbal Renamer, if you aren't like bill. Currenty no forum thread, but if works in 1.2.2.

Only way to get it is to:

a. search google for "Kerbal Renamer" and click on the one that says github

b. use CKAN
