Just Jim
According to Space.com, and a couple sites, they've located it, but haven't gotten a signal yethttps://www.space.com/india-moon-lander-found-by-chandrayaan-2-orbiter.html

Ultimate Steve
Whoa! This is exciting! So either it soft landed but is at an angle where it is difficult or impossible to communicate, or it landed hard enough to break a vital system. What do you think the odds are for reestablishing communications?

The trick is that they only have a mission duration of 14 days, and presumably if the lander is on the side, they have to attempt comms from an angle where the antenna works (~180 degrees). No idea what on the side means, either, it might have been fairly kerbal, it was heading down with about equal horizontal and vertical velocity at the time they lost comms (something on the order of 150 kph at an angle). kerbiloid
Spoiler Landers should be hedgehogs with retractable antennas from every side. Then, by retracting-extending antennas they can not just overturn back, but also roll along the surface and get out from pits.

tater
OK, liftoff is at 8:58pm MST (10:58pm EST). So it goes live about 30 minutes prior to liftoff.

scimas
The video coverage is always so bad man... Every time I hope they will get better, but they never do. They had actual footage of the fairing separation but chose to keep showing the people instead.

Selective Genius
Scott Manley did a video on the Vikram crashlanding site, but the comments section is a racist, xenophobic dumpster fire so I am not linking it directly to the forum.
