How to create action group to deploy drills?

Is it possible to create an Action group for deploying drills?

 

Selection for Drill O Matic only has Start/Stop/Toggle, but no deploy.

It should have raise/lower/toggle, which I usually just use toggle, then it'll have start/stop/toggle, for both surface and asteroid harvesting.

There is a bug in 1.3.0 causing this: http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/15410

It's possible to manually edit the part cfg if you need it right now (see the bug report text), but it looks like it'll be fixed in the next patch.

Do you know if it applies to vessels previously built with action groups assigned? If so, that would explain some things. I've got an asteroid harvester that isn't responding to the drill command. Built it several years ago (game time), so I thought I just forgot to assign the action group. Now I'm not so sure.

Read the last comment in that bug report, and try it and see.

Yep, Use to be able to "deploy drills" Why it's gone I don't understand.
