Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick

So I just got it and I know exactly nothing about it. How exactly do I get it to work for KSP?

Shouldn't require anything beyond plugging it in and running a calibration through Windows control panel. You can assign functions to buttons through the normal KSP settings customization.

nice! I have it me too but I never tried to configure it for ksp.
how do you wanna use it? rcs control when docking? pilot an airplane? other?

Just about anything manned. I want to go for realism so launches and anything unmanned is autopilot and manned flights like planes and spacecraft I want to use with the joystick.

In the KSP settings screen, there's a column for buttons and another column for controller axes.

how? i just got my extreme 3d pro and am having trouble. the game (1.3) recognizes the joystick in the input settings but not correctly. For example pitch axis is automatically assigned to joy0.3, when i try to reassign it to joy0.1 (forward or back on the stick) it recognizes the input and changes it to joy0.1, until I hit accept and then it reverts it back to joy0.3 automatically. long story short, it knows the controller is there but does not keep any of the settings. please and thanks for the help/info.

Hmm. I also have a Extreme 3D Pro, (let's start a club!) and I didn't have any of those issues. One issue i did have however, was that even after accepting the new inputs the game wouldn't recognise them without closing down and starting it up again. Try that, it might fix it. Good luck!

Hello folks I'm new to KSP and I have a 3d pro too!

It's a funny story you have going on and I might be able to help you case my dad is a engineer who can fix the glitches.
